There’s been a shit ton of buzz surrounding the latest work from Baroness, Yellow And Green. It’s the follow-up to the highly acclaimed Blue Record, and early singles hint that it’s a whole different beast than its predecessor. We here at Metal Delirium have been listening to advance copies trying to wrap our brains around it, and I’ll simply say I have come to love Yellow And Green just as I do previous Baroness efforts. There’s a whole lot of debate going on regarding this album, but let’s just let it speak for itself. You can now listen to it in its entirety over here at NPR. Feel free to share your thoughts on it in the comments below.
Curious About The New Baroness Album Anyone?

People listening to Baroness for brutality or heaviness are doing it wrong anyways. I can’t wait for this to come out. I heard the studio cut of “Take My Bones Away” and nothing else, and I want to keep it that way until I can listen through the whole album.
Agreed. Listening to Baroness is like taking a long journey with many different paths. They have too much going on to restrain themselves to any one style.
Baroness to me is one of those bands that has fun. Sort of like Mastodon, of course everybody has heard that comparison.
