DEUCE IS ROCK’S BREAKOUT ARTIST OF 2012

Why the fuck am I writing about Deuce is exactly the question you should be asking yourself right now. Well, Deuce and Hollywood Undead(which is of course his former band that apparently tried to kill him, whatever) have a combined two songs that I think are pretty moderately catchy. But when I read something like this I just can’t help myself:

Rock’s biggest underdog, Deuce has become the genre’s breakout artist of 2012. “America” – the lead single off of Deuce’s debut album Nine Lives, which Revolver Magazine proclaims is “A slick, nasty record that sounds like Eminem fronting Linkin Park”

It’s a shame that the #2(Second to Shinedown) hard rock performance of the year goes to a rap/rock guy that wears a mask and looks like he has a mullet. Deuce displays little to no musical talent. The musicianship on all the music he has a part of sounds like a few kids just picked up some instruments and his “rhymes” sound like something Vanilla Ice dreamed up in 1990. It gets better because they covered that for me in the press release!

Deuce is known for his signature masks and ability to jumpstart any party with his often raunchy and explicit lyrics.

To bad nobody outside of the Sirius radio circle gives a damn about him because I have never heard his music on commercial radio, TV, or seen any news about him other than him getting his ass kicked.

About Matthew Kuritz

Born in 1989 in a small town in South Carolina, Matthew was raised on metal. His father, a huge KISS and other classic rock/metal fan and his brother wh owas raised during he hay-day of Hair Metal and Grunge, Matthew was made to do this. I digest any and all music that comes my way; not just metal. Metal for me strikes the rebellious, angry, and energizing nerve that no other music can. Metal has the most talent, most feeling, and most power than any kind of music. I am always up for discussing anything and everything involving metal and other music.
