Flogging Molly - Speed of Darkness
Celtic punk band Flogging Molly is back with their new album, “Speed of Darkness.” This may be the best Flogging Molly album to date. Pure speed and power and punk aggression. One think you can not deny about this album, it is FUN. From start to finish they keep up the pace and make you want to raise your fist and drink a Guiness. It is also the fist album to be released on their own label Borstal Beat.
Songs like “Speed of Darkness” and “Revolution” open the album with a fun and rockous tone, “Revolution” itself speaking of starting a damn revolution! Into the slower, yet heavier at parts “The Heart of the Sea.” Moving on down to my favorite song “Oliver Boy(All of Our Boys) a great song. Powerful and meaningful. Vocalist Dave King sounds better than ever. His throaty, celtic yells and his powerful pipes just as prominent as ever.

One of THE albums of the year from every genre. My favorite Flogging Molly album and it should be yours too!
