Halestorm, whom is fronted by Lzzy Hale, have made history by being the first female fronted hard rock band to take the #1 spot in the active rock charts! That’s saying a lot because there have been some fucking awesome female fronted bands over the course of rock history. Halestorm, whom I didn’t think was that popular and would NOT ever chart that high when they first came out have completely made me look stupid.
I remember me and Justin listening to their debut album when it came out and us both thinking that it was a horrible Evanescence clone and that the band would never amount to anything. That Lzzy Hale did nothing but whine and cry throughout the album and that she was a horrid vocalist. Oh, how the times have changed! If I may quote Justin, not exactly but to the effect of “ ’Love Bites(But So Do I!)’ is one of the catchiest damn songs in years!.” He couldn’t have hit the damn nail any harder on the head! It’s fucking good and if you don’t believe that listen for yourself below!
