Oh dear God whenever I get a female fronted band that says anything about Nightwish I usually look to see if the singer is wearing a corset, lots of eyeliner, and has black or red hair. Well, Neverstar has none of these things, fucking shocking right? When the press release said similiar to Godsmack, Nightwish, and Evanescence I was immediately skeptical and concerned about what I was going to listen to. Although, after listening to “Lose Control” I don’t think the band is that band. I actually think they have a lot of potential with some fine tuning and polishing.
