Whenever I see something that is labeled as doom/death metal I think it is basically in my blood to listen to it. Most times I am dissapointed by 1BPM slow, drone metal bullshit that I can fall asleep to. But with Nethermost I find a band that speeds up doom metal and slows down death metal enough so that the two meet in the middle and create a fantastic sound. From the low pitch vocals to the growls that harmonize with them to the non-stop melodic hooks I have fallen in love with this song. The band has just recently signed a record deal with Hypnotic Dirge Records to release their upcoming ep “ALPHA” sometime in 2012.
