KISS to release DESTROYER: RESURRECTED

It is the 30th anniversary of the landmark album from KISS. Of course I am talking about what is arguably(and I argue against it) the best album of their career: “DESTROYER”. The album had their highest charting single “Beth” and numerous songs that the band still plays in concert to this day. One of them, “Detroit Rock City” even having a movie named after it. The album is being remixed and remastered by legendary and original producer Bob Ezrin and will feature parts of songs that were left out including a new(original) guitar solo in “Sweet Pain” and some extra vocal parts in Beth that were left out.

Not to mention the album will feature the original apocalyptic album art was deemed too offensive for the time! How cool is that? Somebody said that KISS was doing something too offensive for the 70′s yet they were popular looking and sounding like they did. Awesome. The album will be released on August 21 and I for one know that I will be getting that on vinyl! Check out the track listing below:

01. Detroit Rock City
02. King Of The Night Time World
03. God Of Thunder
04. Great Expectations
05. Flaming Youth
06. Sweet Pain
07. Shout It Out Loud
08. Beth
09. Do You Love Me?
10. Sweet Pain (original guitar solo) (bonus track)

About Matthew Kuritz

Born in 1989 in a small town in South Carolina, Matthew was raised on metal. His father, a huge KISS and other classic rock/metal fan and his brother wh owas raised during he hay-day of Hair Metal and Grunge, Matthew was made to do this. I digest any and all music that comes my way; not just metal. Metal for me strikes the rebellious, angry, and energizing nerve that no other music can. Metal has the most talent, most feeling, and most power than any kind of music. I am always up for discussing anything and everything involving metal and other music.
