KYNG Release Updated Tour Dates

One of the few things me and Jose Mangin have in common is our love for KYNG. I have sang their praises before both reviewing their album and placing them on my Top Ten list from last year. They have a great blend of bluesy rock and metal that should make any fans mouth water. Now I hear them more and more on SiriusXM stations, I see people asking for them. It makes me feel great when a band I learned about on a whim makes it somewhere and becomes popular. I think the main reason I love them is because of the similarities to Alice In Chains. Their are moments in their songs that sound like Layne Staley and Chris Cornell singing over each other that really creates a sound unlike any other going to day. Don’t believe? Check out their live video for “Falling Down” below a long with the tour dates.

About Matthew Kuritz

Born in 1989 in a small town in South Carolina, Matthew was raised on metal. His father, a huge KISS and other classic rock/metal fan and his brother wh owas raised during he hay-day of Hair Metal and Grunge, Matthew was made to do this. I digest any and all music that comes my way; not just metal. Metal for me strikes the rebellious, angry, and energizing nerve that no other music can. Metal has the most talent, most feeling, and most power than any kind of music. I am always up for discussing anything and everything involving metal and other music.
