“Imora is a 6-piece post hardcore band from Harrisburg, PA. By blending both dissonance and beauty together with heart-felt lyrics and captivating melodies, Imora sticks to their roots upon the release of their debut EP “Happily Neverafter” on Jan 10th, 2012. Striving to revitalize the music scene, Imora takes that step away from the everday metal-core band. Once you listen, you won’t be able to turn this off.

Imora formed in 2010 and currently consists of Jeff Leuschen on vocals, Dave Daniel on Drums and vocals, Ryan Brosius and Rob Heck on guitar, Ryan Macaluso on bass, and Chris Cherif on keys. Since it’s inception, the band has been relentless in its effort to have their music heard.

Imora has been honored to have shared the stage with: Chiodos, Periphery, A Static Lullaby, Asking Alexandria, Motionless In White, Stick To Your Guns, Tides Of Man, Born Of Osiris, Greeley Estates, Evergreen Terrace, Texas In July and many more.”

It’s actually pretty good. I have a weak spot for catchy vocals behind good music. I definetly think it’s worth checking out for fan of bands like A Day To Remember, UnderOath, D.R.U.G.S and other bands that get lumped into that genre. It’s not a bad genre, just not my favorite. I can see bright things for this band in the future though. Check out IMORA on Facebook

About Matthew Kuritz

Born in 1989 in a small town in South Carolina, Matthew was raised on metal. His father, a huge KISS and other classic rock/metal fan and his brother wh owas raised during he hay-day of Hair Metal and Grunge, Matthew was made to do this. I digest any and all music that comes my way; not just metal. Metal for me strikes the rebellious, angry, and energizing nerve that no other music can. Metal has the most talent, most feeling, and most power than any kind of music. I am always up for discussing anything and everything involving metal and other music.
