Misfits announce NEW ALBUM.

“The Devil’s Rain” will be released in October.

Now, I have only just discovered the Misfits in full extent but I know Justin has been a long and I mean fucking long time fan. I can’t wait to hear what he has to say about not only this article, but the album itself when it is released. To my knowledge Jerry Only will be doing vocals. None of us have heard otherwise. This will be the first album of new material in eight years so a lot will be up in the air. Do they still have it? Is the Misfits style still intact? I guess only time will tell. One thing is for sure though, that album cover is FUCKING SICK.

   I am super excited about the release of this album!  As I’m sure all my fellow fiends are.  News has been few and far between concerning Devil’s Rain for a while, but hopefully we won’t have to wait too much longer.  The Misfits definitely still have it.  “Twilight of the Dead” and “Land of the Dead” are great songs that maintain the band’s classic sound while still keeping things fresh.  I’ve been rocking out to them for a while patiently awaiting more.  Jerry Only is a solid stand alone vocalist that fits their sound perfect.  He proved that on Project 1950.

   Wow, that is surprising. I am two parts excited, one part apprehensive. It would be great to hear some new Misfits though, that would be pretty balling and Project 1950 was great.
