Why am I sharing a commercial with you guys? That’s easy. It’s the best commercial ever made. Best. Commercial. Ever. Made. That’s what happens when you combine Sailor Jerry, a brand heavily immersed in counterculture rooted in tattooing and punk rock, with one of the greatest punk bands of all time, the Misfits. Not to mention Sailor Jerry’s spiced rum is close to my heart. I drank it like a fish in my pirating days. I now drink it like a fish in my non pirating days.
The commercial features clips of tattooing, punk shows outside of one of their stores, and several glasses of that delicious spiced rum being poured. Oh, and how could I forget it’s all set to “Where Eagles Dare” by the Misfits!
