Yet again another deathcore post from Matthew? Yeah that’s right bitches. I was scanning Google looking for some new bands and I came across this atrocity on Yahoo! Answers:
“What are some good Deathcore bands that do ‘Breakdowns’ and Pig Squeal?
I’m a DIE HARD Deathcore/Metalcore music type of teenager that listens to those bands that do Breakdowns and Pig Squeals and I was wondering if anyone knows any good Deathcore bands that does any of that. If anyone can repond back to this question with some good suggestions of what good Deathcore bands do Breakdowns and Pig Squeals, that would help me out SO MUCH!!”
I couldn’t even bring myself to answer the questions with the bands that I would even consider tolerable deathcore anymore. Of course the normal bands are on the list: Whitechapel, Gwen Stacy, All Shall Perish, Suicide Silence, Emmure, Elysia, Job for a Cowboy, and Winds of Plague. Yeah yeah okay so those are all deathcore bands I know I know.

It concerns me and makes me wonder the state of the “metal” scene nowadays. Sure I don’t like all those bands but they are not deathcore. But, yet again, the deathcore and misinformed masses have never ceased to amaze me.
