With the addition of Blackguard and Cryptopsy on Friday, the full lineup for the first annual Spread the Metal Festival has confirmed. Blackguard will open for Kataklysm on July 5th, and Cryptopsy will open for Morbid Angel on July 6th.
This festival is proof that metalheads can do good and a good chance to break the stereotype that we really don’t care about anything at all. We can have a positive impact in the world, and that is important. 100% of the net ticket revenue will be donated to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. This is to become a yearly festival, so get out and make the first one have a big impact. The fundraising goal is set at $100,000. Info below on how to order tickets. It doesn’t hurt that some amazing bands are participating. All the more reason to go(if you can)!
