The New Jersey prog expirimentalists will be holing themselves in the studio this weekend to bang out two new tracks for a 7″ to see release in January. They’re touring with Converge! No argument, no matter how elaborate, could excuse not seeing this show. This is truly a road trip worthy experience. Ensifirum is one of those bands that just makes me want to get medieval on somebody, drink some mead, put on some chain mail, draw my sword and fight to the death! Most times I am dissapointed by 1BPM slow, drone metal bullshit that I can fall asleep to. For those of you that don’t know, Blythe is being detained due to an incident four years ago where he allegedly shoved a fan off-stage and do to subsequent injuries, died.
