It’s been a long year for Metal Delirium with a lot of ups and downs. We’ve come a long way from the 10-20 posts we were getting per day, a long way to say the least. We started out the year as a two man operation, just Matthew Kuritz and Justin Angel and now we have two more writers, Whitney and Bryan Pilny, and our fan base continues to grow. We see more likes on posts, comments on posts, likes on the Facebook page, and something we love the most is more interaction via Twitter and Facebook. You see, we love talking to our fans and fans of metal in general. The whole premise of Metal Delirium was for Matthew and Justin to just talk about heavy metal and hard rock, really any music they like, and express this with fans. We have always strived to reply to every comment, every post on Facebook, and every tweet on Twitter because it’s the fans above everything else that make us what we are, an up and coming force in the metal and rock worlds.
As said before we started the year getting ten or so views a day, a number that didn’t provide much reassurance towards what we were doing. That number grew to be fifty, then one hundred, then two, then five, and now we are steadily garnering a thousand views a day. To put that in perspective, that is 100X more than we were getting per day when we started the year. We had around 5000 views or so last year, we can get that in a week now! It’s all thanks to the record companies that support us, the PR firms that send us news, the bands that let us grill them in interviews, the bands that send us free music to promote, and the fans for making it all possible. Please continue to support us and tell your friends and other metal heads about what we are doing. We stress that we are the voice of the fans and that is what we want to continue to be.
